The price for one Carfax report is too high, and I was planning to check more than 20 cars and I thought that unlimited package presupposes that I can get as many reports as I need and not just 5 of them! Do not repeat my mistake if you don't want to waste your money.
Don't really see the problem still get unlimited reports, by running the plate. So unless you are buying a brand new car, it has a plate you can run. Ergo, you can still check more than 20 cars.

I've used this service many times before without any issue.

another CL scam that I see time to time is when the seller wants you to pay him so he can pay off a loan. This is not the right way to do this, even with a sales receipt and the vehicle, it doesn't insure that you will get the title once it is paid off. The only way is to pay off the lender yourself and then pay the seller after they receive the title and when they sign over the title.
