Same motor I have in my 92 4runner.

I would do a basic tune up first then check for a vacum leak , then leaky injector.
ok well i went ahead and just took the intake manifold off to make sure it was good... but i beleive it isn't the passenger side had a small puddles and the drivers side is black everywhere... this picture is after i tried cleaning it up... but as i was gunhoe on taking the intake off backwards of the directions i was givin haha i noticed a vaccum port under the butterfly that wasnt hooked up to anything. where would it need to be hooked up?

If there's puddles of gas in the intake you have a leaking injector. If you put a new injector in , also put the fuel line kit in it to .
Check out this link.

On the driver side of the intake there should be a vacuum valve with a electrical conector . Your missing hoes from the vacuum port under the butterfly goes to it then keeps going to the charcoal canister.
Looks like this

And yes it need to be hooked up or plugged up. It would be a vacuum leak.
