om617 swap kits

Hey guys with the om617 swap with either the r150 or w56, how have the conversion kits lasted.. I've only seen them from DDD or 4x4, mostly interested in the pilot bearing adapter and how that may hold up through clutch changes. also the 12 bolt flywheel, has there been any unbalanced/warping issues. i know with the r150 the rear driveshaft needs to be shortened for more engine room, has the front driveshaft had any issue making the stretch. looking to keep ifs, so is it nesseccary for a body lift, or does oil pan clear steering damper pretty well (have seen majority sas) i don't mind the front core cutting and what not but what fan and radiator have been the low profile choice.

I have doomsdaydiesel stuff. Have lasted quite well over the past year. Highly recommended.

I have DDD parts, only test fit so far, but they are well made parts. If you email him, I'm sure he can tell you how well they held up, and I bet the first one he did was on his own rig.

Kit purchase

Hi,

New to the forum.

Where could one purchase this kit? Am looking at swapping out my 1kzte (3 litre turbo diesel) out of my 02 kzn165r Hilux ute (I think it's a Tacoma in North America). As I am in Australia, there isn't a lot of know how on these swaps so am going into this blind.

Thanks

This swap is specifically for the Mercedes OM617 Turbo diesel, I'm not even sure where to refer you for that swap.
