I want to to put a toyota diesel in my 81 yota but I've heard that the bell housing breaks when ppl go wheeling or just play around in the snow. So would a little cummings 4 cylinder work in my yota?

 

I dont know alot about the swaps...but guys use imported diesels from Japan and also use the VW TDI motor.

Never heard about breaking bellhousings.

Toyota used a diesel in 81. Pretty hard to track one down...but the stock pathway is there to follow.

 

What about a Cummings? Would one for in mine?
