Anybody with a V6 to OM617 swap to a 22R trans?

Curious about this because I'm not sure how to proceed, but know that I want to ditch the 3VZ-E for an OM617 sitting in my garage.

My truck is a late 1992/early 1993 V6 SR5 X-cab with a 5 speed, 4WD, ADD.

From what I can see here: http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/faq/parts/

It looks like the transmission is an R150F and Tcase is a VF1A. I'm not near the truck otherwise I'd try to go verify for sure, but either way it appears as though I have to go thru some major hassle in order to adapt the OM617 to the V6 transmission. Among other issues I think starter clearance and length to radiator make it a huge hassle.

So what I'm wondering is, if I have a V6 truck and I pull the engine and transmission, will a G58 bolt straight in to the VF1A and provide me the additional clearance to put the OM617 in, or is there additional t-case movement/drilling new frame holes or driveshaft changing I have to do in order to make this setup play nice?

Is there any advantage to the G58/VF1A combo over pulling all of it and replacing it with a W56/RF1A? It appears that the W56/RF1A never came on a truck with ADD so I'd have to sort out controls myself, but I don't think that would be too difficult.

Beyond that, are engine mount points the same for the V6 and 4 cyl trucks on an Xcab? I'm wondering because I'm considering purchasing premade engine mounts.
