Wiring help

I am just about finished with another 3.4 swap but my laptop with all of my wiring diagrams fried the motherboard or something and I can't get anything on a monitor. Not even plugging in a separate monitor so all of my diagrams I downloaded from TIS are inaccessible right now. This isn't my first swap and I have a pretty good idea for some of the wires, oil pressure, tach, starter trigger wire to ignition and such but I am SOL on the rest. It's a 93 4Runner 3.0 factory auto (converted to manual) and a 97 4Runner 5vz manual. Anyone happen to have the EWD for these or able to tell me what I need to hook up? I will be running the A/C also but can get that part off of the how to AC thread. Thanks for any help

I have a PDF of the spread sheet I used to mate a 97 5VZ 5 speed to my 91 3VZ 5 speed at the end of my swap thread, maybe it could help you enough to get by:

Now for your laptop, do you have another PC (desktop or laptop)? The easiest thing to do would be to pull the drive out of your laptop and connect it to another PC; either directly (with a desktop, open the case and directly connect it to the motherboard via a SATA cable, or if it's IDE, you'll need a 2.5" IDE to 3.5" IDE adapter...this is really old tech so you probably won't have to deal with it) or attach it via a USB converter. There are lots of SATA to USB converters out there, here are a couple styles:

SATA to USB cable:
SATA to USB hard drive dock:
I don't have any experience with either of those 2 specific models, but I've used both cables and docks in the past, and to be honest, given the choice, I'd recommend using a dock just because it has it's own power supply and can be used on the larger 3.5" drives that take more power than the 2.5" laptop drives.

Thanks sacrunner. I am not extremely computer savvy so I don't feel comfortable pulling it apart. I may just have to buy a newer one and have everything transferred over. Until then I will see what I can get done.

I have done about 5 engine swaps in Toyota now. don't be afraid to open the harness up. this way you can be sure all the wiring is ok. get some new loom from FRYS and tape it up. Both my 4runner and my celica that I put a 1MZ in. the referee inspector said he has never seen such a clean wiring job and swap.
