3.4 and tranny swap from pickup to 4runner?

Well, if you didnt see my other posts, heres a little history. I had a 3.4 swap into my 95 pickup, ran great, everything was good, until it was totalled. The motor and drivetrain are all still good though. I was able to find a (surprisingly nice) 91 4runner for $700 with a blown 3.0. I am going to swap the 3.4 and the tranny from the wrecked truck into the 4runner. The swap is done, wiring and all, so that should be pretty straight forward. My questions are about the tranny swap. I understand the clutch pedal and the lines and all of that, but the question is, the 4runner has an automatic, the donor is a pickup with r150...the truck wheelbase looks quite a bit longer, so once I drop in the r150, what driveshaft will I need to use??

Probably have to measure and see once you are done. Retubing one isn't bad if you need to shorten or lengthen the 2nd gen 4Runner one.

Both 3.4 swaps we've done were on 2nd gen 4Runners and reused the 2nd gen 4Runner dshaft.
They both used the automatic.

I'm putting a 5 spd in both of mine so we'll see, 88 and 90 4Runners.

After some more research, I THINK, I will need to use the driveshaft from a manual 4runner or manual single cab shortbed pickup. I have an extended cab, which puts the frame and wheelbase at 121 inches or something like that, whereas the 4runner/single cab shortbed both have the same 103 inch frame. I THINK. I may have to just measure it out once Im under there as you said, I was just hopin to have all my parts lined up before I started.
