Shifter Boot Replacement: 87 Runner

Anyone have a link to a quality, or failing that, any, replacement for the shifter boot. Mine is pretty nasty. Maybe the wife could make me one and use the old one as a pattern? Any ideas? Thanks.

I have been looking for one since I got my runner. I am going to have the upholstery shop make me a new one using the old one for a pattern. Post some pics if yours turns out nice...

My friends wife used the original one and made 2 sets. One for m and the other for him,
They look great! I dont think they are that hard to make. May try my hand at making one someday. Other than making one, I dont know of any other options.

Sort of on the same subject, I have a dumb question. Does the shift knob just screw off? My 4wd one does for me, but I have put ALOT of pressure on the trans shifter to the point of not wanting to crank it any harder. Thought I'd ask before I just assumed that more force is necessary.
