Igniter?
 

Having a small problem with the old yota. My truck starts fine but the ignition cuts out completely, or at least the ignition voltage drops way off, at about 1800 rpm and will not pick up until it winds down to 1200 rpm. I have replaced my whole ignition system except the igniter (450.00 from dealer 215.00 aftermarket). Could the igniter be the problem???? :drink:

this on a 22R/22RE? i'd pull one from the junkyard first to confirm the problem. they are VERY reliable units and rarely ever fail.
