Fuel Filter Leak?
 

I just replaced my fuel filter (3.0 V6) today and it seemed to go without any problems. Came apart real easy and went back together easily, but when I started it up to check for leaks gas started spraying out from both ends of the filter, both of the fittings are threaded all the way in and its in the right way...what could it be?

Did you put ALL FOUR of the copper washers back into it? One on each side of the banjo fitting.

I just did mine and THOUGHT I had all four in, only to find one on the floor when I went to sweep up. The result, a fuel leak. Put the washer back in, and the leak was gone.

copper washers? there weren't any on mine no orings either, and its the PITA compression fittings on mine rather then the nice banjos you have.

Got it fixed...just had to drop the tranny crossmember in order to get more leverage to tighten the fitting
