Check Engine Code
 

My check Engine light went on couple days again. So I used OBD11 scanner and I got these codes.


P0446
EVAP Emission Control Systems Vent Circuit Malf.

P0441
EVAP Emission Control Systems Purge flow fault.

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it to a shop?

since you have the codes, you should be able to figure out which part is bad. use the service manual and walk thru the procedure on checking which item has gone bad.

I had a similar evap issue early on and the dealer warrantied the work as it was one of the sensors that went bad. It was definitely something I couldn't do on my own as I didn't want to pay for it.

if this problem is an emissions issue, maybe the dealer might be able to fix it for free (else, pick up the part and do it yourself if you're capable of wrenching).
