7mge swap problem

I ran into a big problem today installing my 7mge. I have the bellhousing and clutch fork from an 82 supra. I have a throwout bearing, clutch and flywheel from an 88. When I finally got the motor to line up the the output shaft and thightened the bellhousing bolts, I moved the clutch fork to make sure everything was good. The fork was able to move all the way foward and from what I can tell it didn't even contact the pressure plate. Wtf!!! I'm stupmed. Did I source wrong parts? If so, what parts are wrong or right? I'm super choked! I pulled the motor half way back out to have a look and when I moved the fork, the throwout bearing looks correct, but I can't be positive since I didn't take it apart. Did I maybe buy the wrong year throwout bearing? Do I need to get one for an 82? I bought the one for an 88 cause that's what the flywheel and clutch assembly are from. Help please!!!

Sorry for the spelling in the last post, lol, I'm on my blackberry and am super rattled! I thought that if you used the bellhousing and stuff from an 82-93 non turbo you were good to go? What's the deal???

update. i took the motor back out and had a look at the fork and throwout bearing...everything looked good. i took it apart, put the bearing back on with the clip and reinstalled that and the motor. it still feels like theres too much movement fowards and backwards (without hydraulic pressure) . how much should the clutch for be able to move without being too much? also, when i put the new slave cylinder on, it seems like the dowel is a fair ways already out of the slave cylinder body....again, seems kinda wierd. anyone have a pic of their 22re or 7mge slave cylinder with the clutch in and/or out? im going to bleed the clutch tomorrow and see if it activates the pressure plate or now. i hope it all works out!!!! NOBODY in vancouver or surrounding area had a bellhousing or clutch fork for sale...i found one in kentucky though!!!
