I'm looking for some info regarding an engine swap from a 3VZ to a 3RZ. I know it is way easier to swap in a 5VZ instead, but I was looking to do something more interesting like a 3RZ turbo. My truck is a 1989 pickup 2WD with an extended cab and a stock 3VZ-E. My engine is getting old and has a few issues, so I want to do a swap when it goes. There is an abundance of parts to help with this task out there, but the one piece I can't find any info on is the engine mounts. All of the mounts that I found are for a 22R/RE which wouldn't match up. I assume I would have to do custom work to fabricate a mount for it. so I'm looking for any info/ criticism regarding info, not just about mounts, but about really anything regarding a swap. I have never done a swap before so all help is appreciated.

I just pulled up two pages of 3RZ swap threads but I’m not sure if they had any turbo’s, go to advanced search and search 3RZ swap, you may find some ideas and issues users have had.
