There's a local guy here looking to sell his '83 4wd long bed. It's beat up bad and needs a frame off restoration. If I'm gonna do this, I'd like to put a LandCruiser 1FZ straight 6 in it. Does anybody know if this motor will fit in the engine bay? I don't know the dimensions of the motor and can't find them online.
The 22r will probably get a rebuild with a 20r head.

 

Personally I wouldn't even waste my time with that engine. Likely the dimensions can be found over on iH8mud forums. Personally I'd go 20r/22r hybrid, 2rz/3rz swap, or a 1uz swap.
