1990 3vze in a 1995 4 runner?

1990 3vze in a 1995 4 runner?
i just put a 90 model 3vze in my 95 4 runner. the 90 model has been rebuilt. it is the block and the heads. i used my cams, distributor etc(everything but the block heads and timing belt setup) and the thing wont fire. ive went through over and over again, anybody have any ideas???? please!!!! thanks
