SAS front leaf spring mount bracket

SAS front leaf mount bracket
Can anyone tell me how the front leaf spring mount brackets are designed with a boughten SAS kit? Does the inside of the mount have a threaded hole or a nut welded on the back side for the spring bolt to fasten to? Any/all pic's welcome!!

Usually just a straight through hole with a bolt and lock nut, stock size is 18mm.

Ah, this sounds like a truck that REALLY needs a SAS.

First, use 16 guage steel for everything.

Weld the springs to 24" blocks, then weld the other end of the blocks to the axles. This should give you plenty of clearance for 89" tires, and at least 12 shocks per axle.

Paint everything safety green.

Lastly, DO NOT, under any circumstances, buy any armor, gears or lockers. Those are complete wastes of money.

Boughten... that may be my new favorite word... even if I don't know what it means. :hillbill:

Here is a pic... basically a bolt and a nut per side:
