my little sas

so i am starting my sas and want to keep a good record of everything including cost. my plan it to save every cent i can by fabbing up as many of the brackets and shopping around for deals. so far i have spend nothing, have a couple of sales lines up including, downy 2inch rear lift leafs brand new for 100, brand new high steer for 275. chopped off my ifs yesterday (not much fun really). anyways heres some pics from the starrt.

Having the cab off should make it easier. Score on those downey leaves, I have a set in the back of my 92, Great springs.

Keep us posted!

what are your plans for the sas? (tire size/lift)

bttrs Feb 13, 2012 08:47 AM

looking to gain about 2/3inchs of lift in the front, plan to keep it low and streetable, lots of droop like the rear. will be running the 33 swampers i have been with ifs for a while, might go up 34 or 35s but plan is to stay low.

Great start. I've seen your build thread and love the truck.

rattlewagon Feb 28, 2012 11:59 AM

230 for the parts! Good deal! When do you plan on having this truck driveable again?

jswizz Feb 28, 2012 12:07 PM

Looking like an interesting build , I am guessing it was rolled or wrecked !

hoping to drive it by my birthday (june 1st) but really i will be happy to drive it by next winter. just got my solid front axle today. not sure if i will be buying a different one yet or not (comes with longs, 5.29s, trussed and gusseted, and tg high steer) i might buy it because its a deal and i can get a matching rear. yes i flipped it the day before xmass eve.

i have a lot of work to do coming up, will have my new cab next week though so i can start on my flat belly, leafs should be here soon to. going flat belly with tranny tunnel, dual cases, sfa before it goes anywhere again.
