Is this the front axle I want for SAS?
 
Is this the later model axle suggested for a SAS?

I heard 85 was the best year? Is this one?

That axle is older like 79-83 but you can still use this as your front. the lower truss will be physically longer on the axle tube 84-85 thats how you can tell. truss will continue past the spring perch

Not an 84/85 as it only has a half bottom truss.

79-81 no truss, 82-83 half truss.

I keep wanting an older pickup for a solid axle....then I was like duh!
Just sas the 87 runner and be done with it. It will be awhile though.

Is $250 for both axles in pic above decent price?

i usually get $350 for a front complete hub to hub.
