puttin the trail gear 5'' lift on my 87 toyota and i wasn't sure bout my drive lines, is it recomended to lengthen them? if so how much?

Measure flange to flange after you have your axle sitting installed at ride heighth, be sure you have a long slip joint up front.
Don't have it made before your lift is done

i found with my tg 5" rear springs i did not need to alter the driveshaft at all.although i moved my fixed hanger 7" forward as apposed to the 6" from the instructions..what i gained was a centered rear axle,which was great for reduced rubbage caused by the 37's..

X2 on longslip. Are you planning on dual cases? will save a little cash by putting them in now. The correct way to do it is compress the suspension on passenger side and measure flange to flange the fully droop passenger side and measure flange to flange. Take measurement to DL shop with donor shaft and shazaam. If your going to reuse you IFS shaft the CV will need to be opened.
