60 series land cruiser axle in gen 2 runner

ok so a 60 series land cruiser axle is already sprung over... i can get it for a great deal with my same ratio.. person im getting it from is putting a set of 60s axles in his jeep with a chevy motor and he is gonna fab up all the shhock mounts and perchs i need..

does nyone have any information on this swap or is there a reason why no one does it?

The FJ60 diff is offset to the right. Not a real big deal.

Less selection of lockers/gears. It uses "C" clips inside the diff to retain the axles.

is it a grand cherrokke?? i think the front axle is a d44 but im not sure...but i would stick with toyota parts keep your surf nice!

no it is a early 90's cherokee. and if my junk yard friend cant get me a Hilux solid front axle then i was thinking that the jeeps Dana axles would work. the diff is on the drivers side. if that helps you identify the axle.

so does anybody now if i can use a Dana 30 from a 92 cherokee laredo front axle for a SAS? the diff is on the drivers side if that helps identify the model.

You want the diff on the passenger side as your T-Case drops from that side...
