Wa. State Trail run/camping trip 5-2 through 5-8

I had planned on an offroading trip over to Spokane and back over to the coast but lack of interest has allowed me to re-plan my vacation time. While passing over Blewitt Pass yesterday I saw many FS trails and a snow park. I am looking into either going up there to explore the trails or over to Stevens Pass to explore trails then drop down into the Reiters Pit area. I really want others to go up and wheel with me though. I am open to where we would go, when we would go as long as it's within the days listed in the title (5/2-5/8). I am hoping to get Joey UK Myers to go if he is back from his tour over seas by then. But I want this to be big but need more wheelers. So who's in? Anyone? Ben

well im off on 05/04-05/05..maybe I can leave after work(4:15pm) on 05/03? I dunno. You'd prolly have to spot me 90% of the time cuz mine is bone stock and I/my rig suck at offroading :pat: and i say that with confidence

Trip update

This is the for sure part of the trip. Sunday May 2nd we are meeting at the Moses Lake ORV park. From the sounds of it there will be about five of us coming over from Wenatchee. I am still waiting on word from someone in the Spokane area and a few in the Seattle area. I plan on staying in Moses Lake over night (camping) and wheeling the next day. I will either stay another night or move out that day (3rd) to head down to the Beverly Sand Dunes where I plan on staying a night or two there. I expect the group to be breaking down to many of them having to work on Mon. & Tues. . So at that point I am pretty positive I have one other wheeler with me. From Beverly on the 4th or 5th info is scetchy to me. I personally want to go to Reiters Pitt but the other wheeler that will be with me wants to go over into the Naches area. So I guess it will come down to who all is there and where everyone wants to go.

Ray, You are more than welcomed and we will not go anywhere that you cannot make it through safely. There will always be someone spotting another. If you think you can join us on the 3rd I would say we could stay over night at Moses Lake. But this trip is so loosely put together I would say anything is possible for where we will end up. Like I said I would like to wheel in the sand (my first time) then head down 90 to Tinkham then over to Reiters. Ben

If you run the Naches, remember that it is closed from Government Meadows West until July 5th. You will need to dump out at Government Meadows and find your way out from there or get a nasty fine if someone reports you for being West of there.
