SoCal OffRoad Event (Feb 2003)

Okay, so now we have something in the works. I was talking with Joshik and this is what we came up with...

HUNGRY VALLEY on Sat FEBRUARY 22, 2003

This is open to all of you folks in southern california (or anywhere for that matter :D ). So far it's just going to be a day run, but if enough interest generates, we could make it an overnighter.

Here's some info on Hungry Valley: here and here .

So let us know if you're interested, it should be a lot of fun. All are welcome!

http://www.allprooffroad.com/xtoys/11thjambo/index.html

i might go. :)

jjdeneen 01-30-2003 10:49 AM

yeah i plan on putting in my altimeter josh, im waiting for a new dash pad i got on ebay to replace my old worn cracked one, i didnt tell you yet but i had a part of my wiring loom catch on fire and burn up, i got the new part but im not sure where some of the wires go, i put in a question on the posting page but nobody has answered it yet...

johnson valley looks too wicked for me practically all the trails require winch 35" + tires and lockers, you might be able to handel it but not I.

hungry valley still sounds cool and i cant wait, i just got my tax stuff from work and with internet filing and direct deposit refund i should get my return in only 10 days...if so im going to replace my rear springs to downey 3" to match the front and extended shackels all the way around!

so when r u going to get that winch, you should have the money by now.....

joshik 01-30-2003 11:39 AM

the johnson valley has stock suv runs and other intermediate stuff. im only gonna go on the easy stuff and watch the competition if i go. dont wanna roll my truck! ;)

but cooz cooz...

no winch yet, ive been lookin at it though! the 9500ti! $1000 daymn! but i found the winch bumper i want. its not for sale, but i have to fab it some how! its sweet. here

newaise, get that lift in and u'll b set!

which loom caught fire? howd that happen? ah shiet! ;)

wat ya doing after work 2nite? i was over on tuesday till 1030pm.

cya bro!

Jeff -->:fart: <-- Josh

jjdeneen 01-30-2003 12:23 PM

that actually sounds like a good idea, i didnt think about being able to watch other rigs handle some cool wicked stuff.

it was the loom going from the altenator to the main wiring loom along the fender (check out my question on the truck posting page)

im working at the mall today (really sucks) no patrol today, no hanging out till im off work....im off at 9pm tonight though we need to go and chill.....

this weekend we have to go out to banning or joshua tree. please im going insane i havent been out for like a month!!!!!

where the heck is johnson valley anyways....and when is it(day of the week)

mmmmmm beer:drink:
