San Diego Crew: Carvacre and pos. Corral Canyon 18Mar
Updated: 15Mar07
Run is Sunday Morning:
Meeting place is the Alpine Carl's Jr (just off the I-8 at Tavern Rd Exit).
Meeting time is 8am.
From there we will go to Corral Canyon and see what it has for us after the Horse Fires. This is the first Yotatech crew trip there since reopening so it is sort of a gamble since there is not that much info out there yet.
After doing what we can at CC we will head back West on the 8 to the Tavern Rd exit again and do Carvacre.
As with any San Diego Crew run family and friends are welcome, no drinking on the trails and we will be Treading Lightly! No off trail excursions. It is the only way we wheel and the only way to keep the trails we still have open for our use.
The list of For Sures:
Me
Brad(spaugh)
Anthony(drafn)
Maybes:
Marc
Toyopnoy
Original Posting:
So I think I will finally have enough time to do a quick day run. I would like to see what interest is for this day. Sunday morning (0800)(8am for you silly-villians).
Marc and I had talked about maybe driving out to Corral Canyon and doing the really easy outer loop and then heading back west and do Carvacre also. Let me know what you guys think please.

Id love to do a day run to corral canyon. Only thing is that Sundays dont work for me.
Maybe we could hit up a little more challenging trail, I dunno, our group is now more bullt rigs and skilled drivers than before. The last "easy" run we did ended up with way more capable rigs then ever before.
Either way, it also depends on what areas are open.

I'm out again - damn - I got the bumper finished but without a new skidplate I'm just asking for trouble. Currently working on that so hopefully it will be done soon.........Take plenty of pics boys.

Marc, that would be unthinkable. If you can make it past the first 100 yards of the trail, you are in the clear. I saw a thing on TV the other night showing how a locked 2wd was better off than 4x. It's science
