hey san diego crew, carveacre sunset run?

alright i got this new clutch and my 4.7 tcase and i haven't even had a chance to try them out damn it! the days have been very bust so why not a evening/night run up carveacre preferebly next fri night because then no one has to call in sick on a workday (except for marc) anyone game? for those who have not done carveacre it is not extremely tough but very scenic on a scale of 1-5 it's probably a 2 to maybe 3 a locker would be good but it can(and has) been done in a near stock vehicle(TJmatt in his bone stock jeep tj). there is one tight spot due to a rock that fell off the hill, but other than a few huge ruts it's not too bad... there is also a optional very steep climb up the granite face of pancake rock (it's not as scary as it looks) the best part of the traill is it is about 20 minutes from alpine and it can be done in about 3 hrs total so it is ideal for a after work run. post away any dates that might work better or any other ideas

Come on Josh, I've run Carvacre in 2wd with the rear locked. You should be fine, it's actually more fun.

And actually, I was looking for an excuse to put my BFG's back on, so I'm down for Fri.
The only thing, I was hoping to get by that tight spot while it is still light out that was sooo damn close last time!!

I'm down. Only problem is i have no vehicle. Hey Zach, is it cool if i ride along with you. Anybody else willing if Zach can't make it? Hey Mikey, i know i can't ever take Alex's seat, so its all good. Hey Zach, sorry i haven't called you back. I don't have any of your phone numbers man. Could you PM them to me. Take it easy boys and hope to see you soon.

Hey Zach, Marc was whining at work about getting past the first real obstacle (a boulder that fell during the rains) right around dusk 'cause the thing was a real pain the butt last time and that was at full light. Hey i just got a new cell in the mail today (last one was ran over a couple times by random cars when it fell out of my pocket on one of the rolls during my "adventure"). Same number, so i'll talk to you tomorrow at lunch.

Not sure if I can make it now. Wifey told me to look at the calendar, and sure enough we have family obligations

I will try to get out of it, but I probably wouldn't make it out there until 6:30

oh that would be cute but you would have so much crap on your tires that it would take months to get it off

Matt,

I've been keeping my eyes out for a new Toyota vehicle for you. Check this 4runner out. It has the newer 3.4 v6 swapped in with a supercharger
