FROR full floater kit ?
I 've been considering a full-floater kit as a way of getting disc brakes in the rear, stronger rear axles as well as simplifying the maintenance but i'm concerned about the e-brake set up. I still drive my truck on a regular basis and with the hills we have here in S.F.is very important for me to have an adecuate e-brake,Shane you run this kit in your rig, don't you? how does the built in e-brake on those celica caliper works? do they do a decent job of holding the truck

I do have one of those kits, but I'm still working on getting it installed. I can let you know hopefully in the next few weeks, still have to pick up a few little things like a scrap set of front axle dust shields and a set of hub nuts. All I can say is I hope it holds better than that piece of crap AllPro transfer case brake I had...

I'm looking forward to a report from you or RogerB. on this.I agree with you on that crappy AP disc e-brake ,lucky for us there's a lot of people out there so willing to buy used AP parts;)

I read that article by Jay K in my last issue of 4WD & SUV magazine.
That is something I would almost consider doing just to be able to have the disc brakes in the rear. Corey |
I should have my spiffy new digital camera in a few weeks, I'll definetly do a nice detailed writeup on the kit.

Actually the All Pro parking brake is the best setup anywhere. No other parking brake setup even comes close to holding as well as our brake. I am sorry you had problems with yours, but mine still works well after 2 years of hard use.
