any interest in a san gabriel valley meet and greet?
ive been talking to some owners in the area, mostly edwin, and i was thinking i would be nice to get everyone in the san gabriel vally area together one of these days or nights, and just talk shop for a wile, maybe plan a trip or two. just kind of get the ball rolling. oh by the way. san gabriel valley, CA is where im speaking of. maybe meet up at the rose bowl one night after everyone is off work or a saturday or sunday morning. let me knowyour availability

we've done a small informal get-together at D&B (Arcadia) which was pretty fun. I'm sure we could do another one of those since that place is kids friendly too

I used to live in Duarte...
Maybe instead of the OHV area we could caravan up the Rincon Trail (iirc?) that starts near there and goes up to Angeles Crest. You get permission at the entrance to the OHV area. It may depend on fire danger and number of vehicles.

I did Rincon a couple months ago, it's long (5+ hours) and not very exciting, just nice scenery. Plus it dumps you out in BFE way up the 2. It doesn't exactly lend it self to a "meet and greet" type of thing.
Here's the OHV site. I've never been, but what I've seen and the vehicles I've seen going in, it should have terrain that caters to everything: http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/angeles/recr...ngabriel.shtml

guys,
to me, a meet n greet is more of a non-off road event. you know, meeting at a pub w/ a big parking lot sort of thing.
id be up for meet n greet at D&B in arcadia again on sat morning.

I'm down for a meet and greet. Don't think I'll be doin' any trails soon seeing how I only have a PreRunner. Tuesday day, Wednesday day, Saturday or Sunday evenings would be great.

I figure why not hang around somewhere where you have the option to wheel, too?

I'd be up for a meet as well. My name is Pat and go wheeling quite awhile with the SD guys. I met them all first in San Diego before I graduated college. Now I am back in Downey and do not know many if any people in this area. Just name the time and place i'll be there. I'd be up for meeting and wheeling at Azusa OHV as well, i've never been there.
