Hi guys this is my first post my names jordan ...i have decided to get a yota because of crazy high gas prices ...i got offered a Lifted 87 Toyota pickup 22R snorkel 37s winch
they claim to have Just replaced the engine
2" body 4" suspension lift
37" tsl boggers 2 are good 2 are bald
Pro snorkel kit fender flares
3" flowmaster with headman header

have a look for yourself...apparently they did a engine swap and when they went to start it after it pissed out all the fluids out around the water pump...so they gave up on it ... for 1000 bucks i dont really think i can go wrong?

the green one is my daily driver and the lil toyota i just picked up yesterday for $700 but it has high km and rusted right out

ddv1126 Jul 13, 2013 12:46 AM

Looks good, but I can't see someone who would go through the effort of doing an engine swap then giving up. Little wierd

TeamCraigslistRacing Jul 13, 2013 12:52 AM

he said its hes brothers and he did the swap in his drive way and made a huge mess and its sat there...he needs money to move out ...these guys have all kind of nice toys quads dirt bikes dune buggy's other trucks...like i said i just bought the lil Toyota yesterday with a 22re it for 700 bills that's rusted but i can use that motor if need be ?

Highlighted in red is your problem.

x2 on do they have the title? Sounds way too good to be true. Nobody in their right mind would drop that much in the rig and not ask more especially if they just replaced the engine - you'd figure if they are really desperate for money they would sell it really cheap (like $2-4k) for quick sale but at least price it so they can get money otherwise what's the point since they're not making any off the sale? If it is that too good to be true moment that's real - go for it!

REDYOTA Jul 14, 2013 10:00 AM

If its got gears and lockers thats 1k worth right there. If it dont have gears the only way it will move is in 4 lo with 37's
