84 for dd?

I just went and looked at this 84 yota today
http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/2949317596.html

I might consider it a project if I can get it for the right price. he is asking $3500 it has a rear main engine leak. no steering stab up front and I noticed the the rear axle is actually shifted towards the drivers side by a few inches. what would cause this? This is looking like more or a project and less like a dd. any thoughts?

thanks

I'd pass. It looks well used and priced high. Definitely no DD. If you can get it for $2K I might consider it

that is kinda where I was thinking. I just found a 93 xcab I want to go look at for under 4K. After finding out with a little cutting I could fit 33's on a stock IFS it might prove to be a fun little dd, locked and geared of course. I will just keep looking for a stock 85 xcab I know one still has to be out there. I hope

Never thought I would get a IFS I must be getting older just not growing up

Outsane now 'a funny statement thanks i needed a laugh
