Baby seat in FJ?

Hello,

Has anyone used a baby seat in the rear? I'm deciding between a 4 dr Taco and the FJ Cruiser but will be expecting my first child in November and need to plan ahead, I know the 4 dr Taco will work but I'm leaning towards the FJ but don't want to cause myself of other struggles in getting the baby in or out of my vehicle. Any advice or feedback? Thanks in advance.

Rob

IMO, the rear doors on the fj do not seem car seat friendly. If its front facing that might be okay, but a rear facing child seat in the back of the fj would not seem fun to me.

My son was using my FJC for the last month, while I was recovering from surgery. He has a 2month old girl. I asked him what he thought. He said," it was a pain in the a$$..". He said the front sets had to be all the way froward to fit the car set facing backwards. He said he would go with the 4 door.

I have a 10 month old daughter. Yes the rear facing seats are a pain in the a$$ but once u get passed that its not so bad with front facing.

Lockers are more cost effective than babies, unless they're really good at pushing.

I might be a little late on this but I have an 07 FJ. I also have a 2 year old in a car seat. Car seat works fine for him. Only problem I have ran into was installing it. I had to move the passenger seat all the forward but after I got it in there I left him a little leg room and away we went.

Hope this helps.
