T100 lift!!! Help!!

I've got a stock 95 t100 3.4 auto. I've been trying to find a good lift for months now. I just came across a coil over front lift off of a 95 4runner and I need to know if this lift will fit on my truck. Please help!!

95 4runner doesnt use coils, its the same setup as the T100. A 96 4runner uses coils.

You can use a bracket lift or use ball joint spacers for the front and extra leafs or a block in back.

It's a 6" front aftermarket lift they bought for the 4 runner. And I was wondering if my setup on the T100 would work and if the front ends are the same as far as putting lift on them. Thanks

I'm not sure of the lift type or brand. All I know is that it's a coil over lift for te 4 runner. Is all the front end is the same it would work right? That's just what I'm not sure of

The 4runner up until 1995 is the same, only difference is the brackets might not be wide enough. 1996 they changed to coil over/struts up front. Thats why Im confused by what your talking about, because every lift out there for the old style trucks either uses ball joint spacers or a bracket lift that relocates the frontend components.

You do realize that a t100 can easily fit 32"-33" tires on it? I have 32" tires on 16" wheels on mine, only thing that rubs is my mudflaps when I turn sharp on the front. I could easily fit 33's if I wanted to. My torsion bars are barely cranked as well. The reason this works is Im running a 16x8 wheel not the standard 15" wheels and therefore I can buy metric tires like 265/75/16 which are less than 12" wide and fit easily.

Yeah I got confused on what the man was telling me about his lift he's selling. It's a bracket lift up front and it has the coil overs in the rear which I'd like to get my hands on. But I've got 285/75/16 on my truck now. I just want the clearance and better look.

Coilover for the rear huh? Never seen such a thing that was a standard lift kit option. Wonder if its just coilover type shocks or some sortof 4 link setup. The shocks might not be the right length either.

The kit may work but since its made for a smaller wheelbase and width it might be to short. If all you want is a slightly lift then a 1-2" body lift by 4 crawler might be the ticket. Way easier than a suspension lift to do and gives you the clearance.

This guys lifted t100 might be of interest to you. http://home.4x4wire.com/erik/t100/

I'm not exactly sure how it was set up on her truck. Since it's off the truck now I'm not sure and trying to find out bc I'm confused as well haha. And I thought about the body lift or just ball joint spacers but was also just trying to see what else was out there as a good lift that will last me as long as the truck and not cause and issues or difference in ride quality.

The guy selling the lift if probably just saying "coil over" because it sounds fancier. If he's selling the lift from a 95 4Runner, the rears will NOT work for your T100; 90+ 4Runners have a linked rear suspension sitting on coil springs (not "coil overs"... the "over" part refers to the notion that the coil spring is installed "over" the strut), and the rear end of your T100 uses leaf springs....it's a square peg/round hole situation, not going to work.

You could get lucky on the front bracket lift, but I seem to remember reading that the frame width on the T100 is about 3-6" wider than than of the 4Runners and pickups.

Yeah I just saw pics and it's exactly what you said. Won't work at all. So what else is out there I could do for a good lift?

Toytec Ball joint spacers is about the only option unless you do a long travel from Total Chaos. I have the BJS from Toytec and I wish they were half as thick as they are so the suspension travel is not almost maxed out just sitting. Not much droop when the spacers already have it pushed down almost to bump stops. Here is how mine sits. 265/75/16 Duratracs on 16x8.5 wheels with -12 offset to push them out a bit so I don't have to use wheel spacers.

Yes the torsion bars were cranked down after install of spacers. However, it does spread out the factory distance/spacing between upper a-arms and lower a-arms and pushes lowers closer to bump stops or it would not provide any lift. Thus reducing overall travel especially droop. I have considered taking spacers and machining them down and reinstalling to lessen the lift and returning the ifs closer to its original geometry while still providing a small amount of lift.

And that's the only issues I have with the BJS I want some travel and don't want it to stiffen up my ride a whole lot. It's probably the easiest way to go too. So if I get the money I'll probably end up doing the long travel kit from total chaos bc I feel it's the better way to go as far as suspension travel and still maintains the same ride quality.
