Safari snorkel for T100

I have heard but wasnt sure about the Tacoma snorkel fitting the T100 of around the same year...is this true? If everything is in the same spot and same distance shouldn't it work? Any input or info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

since it is the same 3.4 engine it "should" work. the tough part is going to be the intake tube that goes inside the wheel well it connects from the engine side inside the fender to the fender. 4runner guys have to get if from a taco or a 96 or 97 4runner. i just dont know if that same tube will work for a t100. something worth looking into though.

The ARB Safari model listed for the first Tacomas will also fit a T100. Only mods necessary includes a slightly longer bracket to attach to the A pillar and a short addition of tubing to the airbox.

Land Cruiser 80 series snorkel on T100

I saw the suggestions of this forum a few months back for Tacoma snorkels,.but I really love the look of the LC snorkel. So I bought a cheap one off eBay to fit up. $90 of plastic later, .64c of metal bracket from home Depot and some time with a heat gun, and I'm happy. I had to disconnect the air outlet to line it up first, but after attaching, I used a tie down to bend it in position while I warmed the plastic to relieve the stress. The bracket hooks into the door, no drilling needed! And it's solid as a rock.even after buying a heat gun this only cost me about $120. I will however take an actual safari snorkel head later, this one certainly shows it's price.
