HELP 1997 Toyota T100 3.4L 4x4

I changed out my fly wheel clutch and pressure plate and throw out bearing but my truck will crank with the clutch when its out of gear but it jumps when i try to crank in gear with the clutch down and when it is cranked it wont go into any gears. i cant figure out why ive bled the slave cylinder till their was no air in the lines and nothing is leaking. i cant push the fork that goes to my throw out bearing by hand and when the slave cylinder pushes it it only moves a inch tops. but the slave cylinder is practically new. what else could it be??? is my throw out bearing not installed correctly???

Try adjusting the clutch pedal. It sounds like the clutch is still being engaged even though you have the pedal down.

Unless the master cylinder is failing, it can't think of anything else that would cause what your describing. I'd say keep trying to adjust it. The clutches on both my trucks start to engage about when I push the pedal 3/4-1 inch down.

Was it doing this prior to the clutch replacement?

i cant push the bar conected to the throw out bearing with my hand and the slave cylinder only pushes it back a inch if not less. i unhooked the slav ecylinder its pushing alot farther without being hooked up to the bar connected to the throw out bearing. could my throw out bearing not be hooked up correctly???

Doubtful. The clutch would not disengage at all if you installed it incorrectly.

Red face

Someplace either on the Mechanical parts or Hydraulic you got a wrong part. In the correct box or labeled wrong.

Pretty much any more you need to look at the parts side by side.

It is possible the rubber hose is blowing up under pressure.

I thought same thing so actually bought a hole new clutch set.figured customer supplied one may have been faulty so have done 2 complete clutch sets.also thought same thing about rubber hose so replaced that too.everything is new except for clutch fork.the pedal dont grab til almost to the floor but does move the fork and bearing about an inch.

What year is yer T-100? Do you have the upgraded clutch pedal support (black) or the original one (rusted/steel colored)? It's possible yer support and firewall is flexing/cracked and isn't allowing full extension of the mechanism. It was common fer the earlier T-100 trucks to have this issue before they fixed the support.
