Good set of shocks?
 

Gonna need to replace both sets, ride is very rough. Right now it has monroes on it, was thinking rancho or procomps probably mid range shocks. Tire rack is also sellling KYB monomaxs for about 55 a pop?

So what should I get, somewhat firmer ride is ok...but not super stiff..

I currently run Rancho Rs5000 shocks on my grand cherokee and ran Pro-Comp shocks(ES-3000 if I remember right) on my old Tacoma. I also ran the Rancho RS5000's on my 88 pickup. The pro-comp shocks were a bit stiffer but not bad by any means. I prefer rancho and really enjoy the comfortable ride they offer with my 01 Grand Cherokee(Lifted 2").

Thanks, ive beend oing some digging and it seems I may go with bilsteins since I can get a set of 4 for about 250 and install them myself. I have heard mixed reviews on the ranchos and procomps and nothing but excllent stuff to hear about the bilsteins.
