voltage leaks test using a multimeter?

Hi,

How do you test a vehicle for voltage leaks using a multimeter against the battery? The battery on the Runner is dead overnight even after a full charge the day prior. There are no lights on or anything.

Thanks for any input.

By the way, i wanted to mention: The term "voltage leak" is really inaccurate. Voltage doesn't "leak". Current can "leak", but not voltage. Voltage is only the potential that makes the current flow. The "pressure" behind the system, if you like. You may have a unknown current draw, draining the battery, but your voltage can't "leak".

Sorry for going on, but I've been a radar techie all my life... :)
