I need tires for my 2nd gen truck, but I maybe getting an fj80 down the road. Will the 33" tires and wheels from a 2nd gen truck fit on an fj80?
Also where can I find Kumho Road Ventures in 33?

i think all of the 6 lug toyota wheels are universal in pattern. the diff is backspacing. for example 16' wheels from a 03 taco fit my 80 BUT the backspace was over an inch difference which caused the tires to rub on the frame when articulating. also the wheels off of a 94 pickup would not fit my 80 due to the backspacing (on the front wheels) they hit on the caliper.
also i believe that the same manufacturer is making the kumho, dunlop and the mud king mud terrains if that is the road venture you are looking for.

or try discount if there is one by where you live???

No, they can fit 33's stock. They need a miminum of 2 inches of lift and pinch weld modification to clear 35's.
The stock size tire on FZJ 80's were 16 inch rims.
Edit to add more info: FJ 80's came with 15 inch rims.

They came stock from the factory with 31's. 33's can be made to fit without any lift. If want to go to 35's, a lift of 2 inches, at least is required. Even then you will rub...
He had to have a lift of some sort, it's just not physically possible to clear 35's on stock suspension for a 80's series LC.

its lifted now on a 3-4" OME J lift with 37x13.5R16s. Which slee says is not recommended, yet his rig doesn't rub what so ever.
Back when we lifted it with the same lift, he bought brand new 315/65/R16 KM2s and the tires looked wayyy too small.
I cant exactly get the pictures right now because my work computer sucks and cant load all the pictures. so... yeah.
stock LC on 35 hankooks.
Same lift, same rig, back on 35s.
Same rig, same lift on 37s

his rig was bought 100% stock. I took his springs and installed them in my 2nd gen 4Runner and my other buddy took the fronts and installed them in his 3rd gen.

Pictures do no good here unless they show what the suspension set-up is.
Again, it is impossible to fit 35's on stock 80 series suspension.

I personally helped him remove the stock suspension and install the OME 4" lift. Like I said, we reused the stock rear coils for a 2nd gen 4Runner lift and the stock fronts for a 3rd gen 4Runner lift. if they were anything but stock, it would've lifted both the 4Runners sky high.
