Whats the 4 door FJ40/45 called?
 

Hey all, I was trying to find what model the 4 door fj40/fj45 is but I cant find anything on google. If anyone knows what im talking about and can chime in with a model and a pic maybe that would be great.

Mike has a great site there, and is one of the most knowledgeable cruiser heads I've ever met.

So if i would find one of those, what do you think it would cost? I would love one of those or one of the old land rover safari wagons. Wonder what they cost too....

The guys who import them and sell them on eBay call them "Troopers".
I can only assume that they call them that because some foreign military used them to carry troops.:bigok:

Troopies there mate. Troopers are Isuzu.

They will cost you anywhere from a grand to 30k plus depending on what condition its in, and if the person selling it knows what they have.

yeah good luck... The 4 Doors are called Wagons/FJ45LV, the Two Door LWB's with the jump/center aisle seats (and seating for 10) are troupies, and the nthere's teh 45 Tray back/cab chasis Pick-up. My personal holy grail of Cruisers are the ultra rare, and IMO best 40's I belive called a 43. pretty much an FJ "Scrambler" (CJ8) with a a full hard top. Longer WB than a 40, shorter than a waggy/troupie.
