hey guys i got this weird issue with my 1982 4x4 w/a 22r. it will start when cold but only after cranking for a few seconds and pumping the gas. sometimes its a quick startup but usually its as described. when i shut the motor off when its hot, however, it takes a few tries to start it up, to the point where it seems the battery is gonna die before it starts. anyone have any idea what it could be? i was thinking it could be too much resistance in the wiring to the ignition when heated up after driving which may cause the ignition to not make a hot ough spark, but idk, that sounds like a pretty weird problem and the new battery should have fixed that (its like double the CCA of the previous battery).
