Toyota 92 22RE with Broken timing chain-

I have a 92 toyota pickup with a 22re engine and dimming chain broke want to know if the engine is interference or non interference motor and if it possible bent the vales or not. Thanks

Likely that some valves got bent.

How can u tell without pulling the head

You might check the valve lash.

Any valve with excessive lash when its cam lobe is on its base circle, is likely bent.

Do a leak down test maybe?
These engines are very much an interference engine so the chances of a valve not being bent are not good

Do need to take the head of and have it tested and redo the vales

If the valve lash is found to be OK, do the compression test.
