Tow bar with Marlin bumper
 

I'm wanting to start towing my runner to wheeling trips. I hit a bit of luck and scored my sisters old car '01 Ford Escape. Not the biggest suv so I'm limited to flat tow and was looking at tow bars. Has anyone had any trouble running a set up with a stinger bumper? and does anyone know if the base plate on the marlin crawler bumper would be a problem with mounting the tow bar base.
