Starts cold then wont start gremlin 3.4L
Ive got a 3.4L from a 98 4runner in my t100 that always starts perfect when cold and runs perfect when running.
Only after sitting about 15-30 minutes after driving it wont start. when its in the in between from warmed up and completely cold.
I have no check engine light and the shop cant seem to make it not start...
In order for me to get it to start I have to wait about 10 or 20 minutes and floor it.. then I have to pump the throttle to rev up the engine because its flooded really bad. But it always starts eventually.
Someone told me either a dirty idler valve or a bad TPS... Any ideas? I am too impatient to search the threads right now. sorry if this has been answered.

Cold start injector time switch may be bad, if the ecu thinks the engine is cold it will fire the cold start injector and flood it. I don't know the specs for your engine but the switch can be tested with a voltmeter for resistance values at different temperatures.

So the shop thought it was the Crank positions sensor which makes sense, I thought this is what it was also... BUT it wasnt the problem... Now we are thinking its some sort of computer problem
