14 mm head and 10 mm threads i think, and 1.5 inches long one is a stud with nut and the other is a bolt

Bolt part #9161261030 $1.20
Stud part#9011610021 $1.63
Nut Part #9017910132 $1.11

Try your local dealer.

The stealership doesn't have them if you can believe it! So thats the method behind my madness trying to get proper bolt sizes so I can grab some at the local parts store

I called my local dealer and they didnt have any in stock either, nor did they have the dimensions.

I have found some sources say any from '84-'88 and other sources say '84-'90 will fit.

Sounds like its time for a trip to a wrecking yard.

Unfortunately thats probably going to be the case...for me anyways. Im still avoiding it though because there is a ton of snow on the ground and the weathers warming up a bit so its all turning to slush lol

Red face

You might find the bolts at your local autoparts dealer or not.

Your toyota dealer more than likely can get the parts over night at least mine can

It is a M10x1.25 thread pitch . not sure of the correct length but by eye i would say 45 to 50 mm. Of course the nuts are the same size M10x1.25

if you drive toyotas you should have some extra hard ware just for these projects.

Hope that helps

Great Information, Thank you so much. I own a 1983 P/U short bed and I am always trying harder to find the proper parts. I do not mind going to the" yards" , sometimes the yards are very short in parts as well. But for sure I won't give up my truck.
Thank you for the great help I appreciated
