Pin stripe removal tool INFO needed.
 

Well I am ready to remove my pinstripes. I am wanting to know how dose the stripe removal tool work? Will it harm my paint? Are there any tricks or things I should/should not do? Any info form you guys that have used this tool will be greatly appreciated!! :bowdown:

alot of guys have removed their pinstripes w/o a tool. search "pinstripe removal" and i betcha there will be more than a few threads on the topic

I kinda like your runner with the stripes on.

I had the same stripe. I used adhesive remover and a plastic putty knife. Soak a corner of a shop towel and rub then scrape. Mine came right off with a little work. There are several write ups on here also.

Ya I did a search on it and did not find anything about how to use the tool, just that it worked. I was just trying to find out the best way to use the tool, and if there is anything I should look out for.

why does everybody take thier stripes off.....contrast in a paint scheme is key to truly good looks.

Well it's just that the stripe is showing some age. I would not mind it if it was new. Anybody know if I can find a new matching stripe?
