Looks like a V6 diff with a lunch box locker in there to me. I really don't think its a limited slip.

It is not a lunch box locker. It has clutch discs in it. and it is not a stock carrier

Why is it so rusty? No way I'd use that rusted POS diff.

it came in a carrier I got used. I don’t need it. but if I could rebuild it and have it as a spare it would be good as a backup.

If it is a lsd it is not a detroit. They do not use clutches and that is not what one looks like. I thought it might be a supra lsd but from what I could find that's is not what they look like either.

Look on these pages and see ehat you can find out.
