Creature comforts

Sometimes its the little mods that make a rig, the ones you think of on your own to define you and how you use your rig.

So lets hear 'em.. what have you done that you find trick. Hopefully we will all learn a new mod to do, and maybe you'll get a mod named after you.

So here are my favortie unique mods...

1. Shifter mounted locker switch (from an exhaust brake) and small LED shift light to tell me when I am locked. (pics to follow)

2. Hi-beam/aux light mod. Wired my driving light with a 3 position switch, On-Off-hi-beam, So when they are on hi-beam they are slaved to the hi-beam switch. Much easier than killing hi-beams and 2 sets of PIAA's.

I love my Prelude bucket seats.

Maybe I should look a little further before asking, but what happened to Nala, and what's up with the new name?

Last May I stripped Nala of all of her offroad goodies. Runners have too much sheet metal and glass for my luck on the trail...and my wife came with a 92 DLX 22RE...so swap away. I then sold her in september. I just never got around to a name change until recently. I didn't feel I could go by 4x4nala after selling her...

How hard were those seats to get to fit, look good.

best so far for me is my cupholder mod...though 99 and up 3rd gen guys already have it :)

They were not that hard to install. I had to modify the rails a little to line up with the stock holes, but it was well worth it. Bucket seats that hug your sides really holds you in place while wheeling. I do not like the feeling of wanting to slide on a bench.

I failed VA State Inspection because of #2.

Can you believe that :pat:

I argued that if I did not dip my brights, then it did not matter whether I had 2 or 22 lamps up front, you would still be blinded. Bbut the dude was about to hack at the wiring until I stopped him
