B&G Fiberglass

I'm about to purchase a bed from these guys. Anybody have one?
How are they?
I'm looking at the economy model.

I know toyotafiberglass make nice ones, but I can drive from Jersey to PA to pick this one up.

Thanks

Don't want to start a new thread on this topic and this is exactly the information I need. Yes, I know it's old...

I am looking to see how this bed is holding up. What type of issues did you run into when instaling this? How did the tail gate fit? Did you opt for having stabalizing metal where the tailgate mounts? Did you have the bottom gel coated?

I am planning an getting a new fiberglass bed from these guys. On the phone, they sound like good guys. Just looking for some feed back...

Here is a link for their stuff...

just bumping this a bit...

snobdds- so you talked with them on the phone? i called them about a year ago with what sounded like a wrong number. and no email response either.

Yea, I did talk to them on the phone. The guys name is Tim and he is in the process of making my new bed right now. It actually should be done any time now. He sounds like he knows what he is doing, very knowledgable. I also communicated to "Ilovemountains", via PM and he has been really satisified with his bed.

I plan on posting some pictures of the entire process of putting it on and getting it painted. I have already painted the front and cab of the truck and all that is left it to paint the fiberglass bed once it arrives.

I bet shipping will be a lot less for you than it was for me...

irab88 03-21-2012 08:40 AM

i would drive up there and pick it up myself, so... yeah, shipping would be cheap :hillbill:

thanks. i'm already tuned-in, so i'll be waiting for the pics (you gonna post 'em here?)

snobdds 03-21-2012 10:01 AM

I will post up pics. I don't know if I will do it hear or start a new thread on it, but either way I will update this post with a link or pictures.

Ironicaly they just called today and said it was being crated up and ready for shipment.

Now we will see how long shipping will take...
