air flow sensor issues
 

i got a 92 pickup truck and my boyfriend was tinkerin with the air flow sensor and broke it.... so we went and picked up a new one put it in but when we start the truck it doesnt sound any better it still sounds like the broken ones in but its brand new and the only thing that was messed with was the air flow meter. it will start up and idle ok till the rpms go down on it and then it will just putter and moan and groan then it will eventually die any ideas to what we could do

Put on two different sensors still runs like its bad

Trade in your boyfriend to one that can fix your truck or rich enough to buy a new one for you.

Which engine ?

When did this problem start???

Does it throw any codes is the CEL on ??
