4runner + mosquito net + airmat = super mobile tent!

I hope everyone is having a good summer. I've been busy with trying to get my motorcycle up to spec and haven't been giving my runner much attention, other than camping in the back a little bit. Thought I'd share a trick that worked really well for me.

If you've got a canback or similar softop, and want to camp in the back of the bed, for $15 you can get a double bed sized green mosquito net (try rei.com) and stick it to the metal softtop frame with magnets ($6 at sprawlmart). Tuck the bottom under an air mattress and you have a bug free mobile tent! Right after I got done setting this up, it poured for about 15 mins. All my gear was in the bed, so I just drove over my pile of firewood to keep it dry. When the rain passed, I resumed camping like nothing had happened! What a difference from a tent on the ground style!
