3vze experts..chasing a miss at 2k revs..

My 3V-ZE has 173k.

New plugs, leads, cap, rotor and iar filter. No vac leaks.
Timing set to 10* with test lead connected.
TPS adjusted.
Injectors cleaned with proprietary injection cleaner in gas.

Annoying miss at 2k that seems to corresponds with my favorite commuting speeds in 3rd and 4th gear. (5 speed gearbox)

Any similar experience /suggestions ?

My next option would be 02 sensor but not sure why I would only feel it at 2k revs and I would rather not throw $100 at it not knowing if it will work.

Thanks

David

mine misses around the same spot when my motors cold...in any gear, but once it warms its old powerful self again

[QUOTE, but once it warms its old powerful self again[/QUOTE]

I hear you brother

Actually, ironically enough, mine is fine when cold and only misses when warm which suggests a mixture issue to me.

The only miss I ever had at that RPM was due to the Cap & rotor. I couldn't figure it out so I took it to the dealer. I couln'd believe it as they were just replaced 6 months earlier. So I replaced them again & sure enough it fixed it. Never seen one go bad that quick.

Even though you said you've just replaced them, check your plugs again. I had a plug on cylinder 6 that had a broken electrode that caused all sorts of problems, beginning with a slight miss and then getting worse.

Good suggestions....

...I have been refusing to look at plugs, wires or cap for that reason.
