22re troobleshooting

hello everyone i have a 1985 toyota celica gts with the 22re motor, i have am doing a turbo set up a T3 turbo, SAFC, etc. when i had everything hooked up with 440 cc injectors my car ran fine on idle but when i gave it gas it died out i am pretty sure im just flooding the cylinders but idle was fine. i could only give it about a tiny tap of gas up to 2600 rpm anymore it would bog out. so i put in the stock injectors and it wont even stay idle it will start up but it will die after about a few turns. all my plugs are pluged and my safc is seems to not be working as well with the stock ones. can anyone help me

try a battery reset of the ecu (disconnect battery for at least 15 min to reset the adaptations in the ecu). thats where I would start. check fuel pressure if persists. let me know

at 2600 rpm, my guess would be thats when u are starting to get boost and the ecm has no clue what to do for fuel. When you start to drop in vacuum and head into a boost condition, you either have to raise the fuel pressure as boost increases or increase the duty cycle of the injector. Not all toyota injectors are interchangeable, if memory serves me corect its to due with the impedence of the injector. I know those controllers can be very picky on how the grounds are hooked up, so double check your wiring. Turbo swaps can be very finicky, try to read up as much as you can in one of the celica forums to what other people have done. Do it wrong and get detonation and kiss your lower end goodbye

HI Anyone that can help me. I have a 1989 toyota pickup 22re that is running rich, and it doesn't warm-up. I have changed the thermostat, sparks plugs, coolant sensor, 02 sensors, ecm, afm and rebuilt the engine. Still the same.

make sure your arrows for intake and maf and such are correct on the afc.
