1985 Turbo Diesel
I couldn’t find a section for this topic. A relative has a 1985 Turbo Diesel pickup it runs fine but is leaking fuel. Not sure if it is seals or injector pump. Does anyone on here have a Toyota Diesel with similar issues? Is there an easy fix?

Where are you located?
Here, in the USA, factory Toyota diesel trucks are like hen's teeth, very rare.
Can you physically see a fuel leak? If so, it is easiest to follow the dampness to the source of the leak.
It is difficult to tell if the fix is easy or not because we don't know where the leak is.

I live in Eastern Washington. I’ll check it out tomorrow and see if I can trace the leak. That truck in in very good shape, very straight. Most of the diesel parts can be found through dealerships but there are some that are hard to find. Diesels just were not popular in The U.S. Relative also has a BJ40 (diesel FJ) but it currently has no issues to fix.
